The hotel was an ideal base for enjoying a local area, just off escorted to another bar adjacent to the restaurant, Auldgirth Inn and the pub on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The staff was very attentive and competent, everything was perfect. We greatly enjoyed the double room which was well-appointed and large with a super large bed. The breakfast was lovely and delicious, with fab dishes. Had a very nice stay on all 3 nights of our stay and would come here again.

Really good Dining Experience!
I was blown away by the seven-course tasting menu. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious, especially the haggis scotch egg! The cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The bathroom could use a bit of modernization.

Amazing tasting menu experience
We stopped by after staying nearby, and wow, the 7-course tasting menu was a feast! The venison was fab and the chocolate fondant was to die for. The service felt super friendly but not pushy. Only wish the bar area was a bit cozier to chill out in. Definitely worth a visit if you're around!

For couples looking for a great meal
Wow the dining experience was amazing my partner couldn't stop raving about the beautifully prepared ribs wow gave me a 10 out of 10. The staff were attentive too recognized us before we even sat down.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but honestly worth it for the quality.
